One nice thing about Florida: You can go to the beach in December. We took Lucy to Dog Beach at Fort DeSoto Park last weekend, where she had a great time chasing balls, playing with other dogs and very gingerly stepping into the Gulf of Mexico. She didn’t do a full plunge into the chilly water, but she went in a little.
She was a sandy mess when we got her home, but she had a great time.
